The app
Motorcycle DIY Service Minder saves your bikes, mileage, trips, fuel stops and service records on your phone, and works with no signal.
Online features say what they send. The VIN decoder's "Look up online" sends only the VIN to NHTSA's public vPIC database. Optional tips go through Google Play, which handles the payment.
Backups and spreadsheets you export are files you control, shared only where you choose to send them.
Accounts and sync
Signing in to sync your records between the app and this site is optional and on its way. Before it opens, this page will set out what is stored, where, and how to delete it.
This website
- Browsing the bike library and schedules needs no account.
- Fonts and images are served from this site; pages don't call third-party services.
- The server keeps standard access logs (address, time and page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- The VIN decoder works out its answer on this server and does not save the number. If you press "Look up online", this server sends only the VIN to NHTSA's vPIC database and shows you what comes back.
